Qualifications

• BLS certification required upon hire unless exempt by department leadership.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients for exam prep and transport between rooms.
• Use radiology computer systems to generate requisitions and check schedules.
• Prepare exam rooms, stock supplies, and maintain equipment.
• Greet patients and manage routine information requests and scheduling.
• Act as liaison between ordering physician, radiologist, and technologist.
• Provide radiology reports/images to staff, physicians, patients and families; manage records.
• Document observations and communicate patient needs to the care team.
• Perform routine maintenance and quality monitoring of imaging equipment.
• Assist with MRI implant screening and documentation.
• Provide age-appropriate care according to department policies.
