Job summary

West Park Hospital-WY-US is seeking an Imaging Assistant in the Radiology department to support clerical and patient care tasks under supervision. The role involves scheduling, patient prep, and basic exam assistance to help maintain department workflow and patient flow.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (or equivalent), and may have preferred experience as Surgical Technologist, CNA, or Medical Assistant. BLS certification is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Surgical Technologist, CNA or Medical Assistant preferred.
• Experience in healthcare settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule procedures with physicians and offices.
• Provide excellent customer service and phone etiquette.
• Greet patients professionally and maintain courteous interactions.
• Maintain open communication with physicians, office staff and department personnel.
• Transport and prepare patients for radiology procedures.
• Ensure patient education about exams and processes.
• Assist with procedures within defined scope of practice.
• Support front office and scheduling duties as needed.
• Protect patient health information per HIPAA guidelines.
