The role involves training, mentoring, and collaborating with leadership to advance performance improvements, staffing, and budget planning, with a 100% appointment and 10-hour shifts in the Radiology department.

Qualifications

• Nine (9) years of related experience, education/training; OR a Bachelor's Degree in business, healthcare administration or related area plus five (5+) or more years of relevant experience/training.
• Licensed technologist in a radiology modality.
• Experience with subject matter knowledge of a radiology modality, with ability to apply principles to an acute care setting to ensure operations meet regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervises licensed radiology technologists providing diagnostic and patient care services.
• Monitors staff utilization and productivity and reviews imaging results for quality and protocol adherence.
• Oversees radiology service operations ensuring compliance with productivity, quality standards, policies and regulations.
• Trains radiology technologists on new techniques, systems, equipment, protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Mentors staff and coordinates development, training and competency assessment.
