Job summary

Middlesex Health in Middletown, CT is seeking a Radiology Coordinator to supervise imaging services in the Urgent Care modality. You will oversee daily operations, workflow, customer service and quality control.

The role includes mentoring staff and students, performing QC/QA checks, coordinating machine maintenance, and acting as a liaison between Radiology and Urgent Care clinics to maintain up-to-date practices.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiography program.
• ARRT Certification/Eligible in good standing.
• State of Connecticut License/Eligible.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care essential to imaging procedures, following health system policies and standards.
• Room patients as Medical Assistant; obtain vitals, reconcile medications, interview patients.
• Mentor staff and students; problem solving.
• Perform QC checks and coordinate machine maintenance.
• Conduct QA checks for technicians; coach and train as needed.
• Record and address errors or incidents with technicians.
• Coordinate between Radiology and Urgent Care clinics to maintain up-to-date practices.
• Perform imaging procedures with initiative and professionalism; mentor others.
• Apply teamwork principles in patient services.

Education

Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiography program

ARRT Certification/Eligible in good standing

State of Connecticut License/Eligible

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
