Outpatient Radiology, LLC is seeking a Health Information Management Services (HIMS) Specialist to support radiology operations with essential administrative and workflow tasks. You will process documentation and imaging requests, coordinate communication with patients and providers, and maintain accurate records to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and provide documentation as required.
• Strong customer service, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read, interpret, and document information accurately in paper and electronic systems.
• Professionalism, accountability, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to receive feedback constructively and adapt to changing priorities.
• Professional and courteous telephone communication skills.
• Strong typing, computer, and organizational skills with multitasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative support including frontline communication.
• Process and manage imaging requests accurately within turnaround times.
• Review and complete medical records requests in RIS and other systems.
• Fulfill Release of Information requests in compliance with privacy requirements.
• Submit reports, images, and files to clinicians and requesting parties.
• Coordinate processing of external images by scheduling, merging, and finalizing records.
• Collaborate with radiologists, clinicians, and staff to ensure complete patient information.
• Review exam reports for accuracy and ensure timely communication of results.
