Job summary

Outpatient Radiology, LLC seeks a Health Information Management Services (HIMS) Specialist to provide essential administrative and workflow support for radiology operations. This role processes documentation and imaging requests, coordinates communication with patients and providers, maintains accurate records, and supports timely report and record distribution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Authorized to work in the United States per USCIS requirements.
• Strong customer service, verbal and written communication.
• Ability to read, interpret, and document information accurately.
• Professionalism, confidentiality, and adaptability to changing priorities.
• Excellent telephone communication skills.
• Strong typing, computer and organizational skills; multitask capable.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative support and frontline communication.
• Process and manage PowerShare imaging requests within established turnaround times.
• Review and complete medical records requests in RIS.
• Fulfill ROI requests from patients and offices with privacy compliance.
• Submit reports, images, and files to clinicians and requesters.
• Coordinate processing of external images, scheduling and finalizing records.
• Collaborate with radiologists and staff to ensure accurate patient data.
• Review exam reports for accuracy and timely communication.
