Outpatient Radiology, LLC in Casper, Wyoming is seeking a Health Information Management Services (HIMS) Specialist who will provide essential administrative and workflow support for radiology operations. You will process documentation, coordinate with patients and providers, and maintain accurate records to ensure timely report distribution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in health information management or radiology support is preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and ROI processes is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative support for radiology operations.
• Process and manage PowerShare imaging requests within turnaround times.
• Review and complete medical records requests in RIS and Teams.
• Fulfill release of information requests in compliance with privacy requirements.
• Submit reports, images, and files to clinicians and requesting parties.
• Coordinate processing of external images and imaging records.
• Collaborate with radiologists and offices to ensure complete patient data and exam information.
• Review exam reports for accuracy and timely communication to ordering providers.
• Perform other clerical duties as assigned.
