Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Guest Service Associate to greet and guide visitors within our medical center in Springfield, OH. The role emphasizes delivering outstanding customer service, handling inquiries, and maintaining confidentiality according to HIPAA regulations.

You will oversee lobby safety, coordinate with multiple departments, train new volunteers, and support visitors with directions and transport as needed, all while upholding Mercy Health’s standards and mission.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Computer skills necessary. Must possess excellent customer service and communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet, direct, and provide information to medical center visitors.
• Answer guest inquiries related to room locations, events, attractions, and services.
• Maintain knowledge of all visitor service details of the medical center.
• Oversee safety and security of the main lobby area.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
• Assist in transporting visitors to destinations when necessary.
• Train new volunteers as needed.
