RadNet, Inc. is seeking a Technologist Assistant to support patient intake, scheduling, and administrative tasks in a fast-paced radiology environment at our Rochester, NY imaging centers.

This role requires strong patient service skills, basic medical terminology knowledge, and ability to handle medical documentation with care. BLS certification is preferred and benefits include health coverage and retirement contributions.

Qualificações

• 1 year of previous medical office experience or similar setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
• BLS certification is required or preferred depending on role.
• Intermediate computer skills to manage patient records and scheduling.

Responsabilidades

• Greet, register, collect copays, verify patient information and notify arrivals.
• Obtain insurance authorizations and collect patient signatures; ensure documentation is complete.
• Schedule, reschedule or cancel appointments and inform staff of changes.
• Ensure equipment and tools are sterilized before each patient exam.
• Assist technologists with patients and maintain patient safety and privacy.
