Job summary

RadNet's Radiology Forward division seeks a Technologist Aide to support patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will greet patients, collect information, assist technologists, and help manage scheduling and insurance workflows.

You will uphold patient privacy and safety while maintaining professional relationships with staff and patients. You should have a High School Diploma, 1 year of medical office experience, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1 year of medical office experience and intermediate computer skills.
• Medical terminology knowledge preferred.
• BLS certification.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients, collect copays, verify information and notify arrival.
• Obtain insurance authorizations and collect signatures for documentation.
• Schedule, reschedule or cancel appointments and notify staff of changes.
• Ensure equipment and tools are sterilized before each patient exam.
• Assist technologists during patient procedures and safeguard PHI and patient data.
• Safeguard medications and respect patient boundaries and confidentiality.
• Demonstrate professional behavior toward patients and coworkers in a clinical setting.
