Job summary

RadNet is seeking a Technologist Aide to support front-desk and clinical operations at our imaging centers. You will greet patients, verify information, and help coordinate appointments while maintaining patient privacy and delivering quality service.

Responsibilities include coordinating insurance and authorizations, maintaining documentation, and assisting technologists. A background in medical offices and BLS certification are preferred for success in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1 year of previous medical office experience and intermediate computer skills preferred.
• Medical terminology knowledge and recent medical/radiology office work experience is preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register, collect copays, and verify patient information.
• Obtain proper insurance/authorizations and patient information; collect signatures and ensure documentation is complete.
• Schedule, reschedule or cancel appointments and notify staff of changes.
• Ensure equipment and tools are sterilized in each department before patient exams.
• Assist technologists with patients.
• Safeguard patient health information and property.
• Safeguard on-site medications according to policy and law.
• Handle patient financial information and portals with care.
• Interact professionally with patients and coworkers and respect boundaries.
• Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
