RadNet in Delaware is seeking a Technologist Aide to join a patient-focused radiology team. You will greet patients, verify information, assist technologists, schedule and reschedule appointments, and help safeguard patient data and onsite medications.

The role emphasizes professionalism, clear communication, prioritization in a fast-paced clinical setting, and teamwork with colleagues to ensure timely and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1 year of medical office experience preferred.
• Medical terminology knowledge is preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register patients and collect copays; verify information.
• Notify patient arrival and communicate delays as needed.
• Obtain insurance/authorizations and gather signatures.
• Schedule, reschedule or cancel appointments and inform staff.
• Ensure equipment and tools are sterilized before exams.
• Assist technologists with patients.
• Safeguard patient property and Health Information (PHI).
• Safeguard on-site medications per policy.
• Protect patient financial information and process portals.
• Maintain professional conduct and patient/coworker relations.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families and the public.
