OU Health's Stephenson Cancer Center - Radiology is seeking a Part Time Days Patient Services Representative to support imaging services. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, collect demographics, verify insurance, and route inquiries, while promoting patient portal communications.

The role requires strong communication, customer service, and basic office skills, with experience in Microsoft Office and a patient-focused approach.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of professional work experience required.
• Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedules patient appointments by phone or in person.
• Greets patients entering the clinic and provides information about clinic operations.
• Obtains and updates patient demographics; verifies insurance and referrals when applicable.
• Answers phones and routes inquiries to appropriate staff.
• Coordinates schedules for patients requiring multiple services.
• Balances and reconciles cash drawer; processes payments and issues receipts.
• Promotes patient portal for communication between patient and clinic.
• Pulls and files patient charts and copies medical records as needed.
• Ensures encounter forms are complete and signed by resident/faculty; verifies signatures.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and PCPs for patients; secures referrals when required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
