Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical registration experience, Radiology terminology and basic office skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Admit and register patients in the hospital system in an accurate and timely manner.
• Verify physician orders, patient information, insurance details and obtain any missing information at admission.
• Perform pre-registration of patients with complete and correct details.
• Maintain access to and use the internet to verify insurance eligibility and authorization information.
• Provide exemplary customer service by greeting patients and ensuring smooth, courteous registration.
