Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• 1 year of prior medical office experience and intermediate computer skills.
• Medical terminology knowledge; radiology office experience preferred.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register, collect copays, and verify patient information; notify arrivals and manage delays.
• Obtain insurance and authorizations; collect signatures and complete documentation.
• Schedule, reschedule or cancel appointments; inform staff of changes.
• Ensure equipment and tools are sterilized before each exam.
• Assist technologists with patients and protect PHI and property.
• Safeguard medications on site in line with policy and law.
• Maintain professional conduct with patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
