Job summary

The Radiology Coordinator at Middlesex Health oversees imaging services in the Urgent Care setting, ensuring daily operations run smoothly and align with policy. You will mentor staff, perform QC/QA, and liaise with clinics to keep best practices current.

A strong background in radiography and leadership is essential. Ideal candidates hold ARRT certification and a JRCERT-accredited program, with CT license eligibility and a track record of coaching and coordinating teams across imaging

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiography program.
• ARRT Certification/Eligible in good standing.
• State of Connecticut License/Eligible.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Three to five years experience as Registered Radiologic Technologist.
• One to three years leadership experience including coaching and counseling staff, and developing staff schedules.
• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Demonstrated high level of technical expertise in two or more imaging modalities.
• Strong communication and organizational skills across health care teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and workflow of imaging services.
• Mentor staff and students; provide coaching and training.
• Perform QC checks and coordinate machine maintenance.
• Coordinate QA checks for technicians and address errors.
• Serve as liaison between Radiology and Urgent Care clinics to ensure up-to-date practices.
• Utilize initiative and teamwork to perform imaging procedures and maintain morale.
