Job summary

Middlesex Health is seeking a Radiology Coordinator to supervise and coordinate daily imaging operations within the Urgent Care setting. You will oversee workflow, quality control and patient service while ensuring policy adherence and high standards of care.

Ideal candidates have ARRT eligibility, a JRCERT radiography education, and strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. You will mentor staff, perform QA/QC, and serve as a liaison across radiology and clinics to sustain

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiography program.
• ARRT Certification/Eligible in good standing.
• State of Connecticut License/Eligible.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care essential to imaging procedures and follows health system policies.
• Room patients as Medical Assistant, obtain vitals, reconcile medications and interview patients.
• Mentor staff and students; provide coaching and problem solving.
• Perform regular QC checks and coordinate machine maintenance.
• Conduct QA checks for each technician and provide training when needed.
• Record errors or incidents with technicians and liaise between Radiology and Urgent Care clinics.
• Perform wide range of imaging procedures; promote teamwork and high morale.
