Job summary

The Radiology Coordinator at Middlesex Health oversees daily imaging operations within the Urgent Care modality, ensuring workflow quality and patient service. This role mentors staff, coordinates QC/QA, and liaises between radiology and urgent care to uphold best practices.

Ideal candidates will have a JRCERT radiography program background, ARRT eligibility, and CT licensure eligibility, plus relevant leadership experience in imaging settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiography program.
• ARRT Certification/Eligible in good standing.
• State of Connecticut License/Eligible.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care essential to imaging procedures and adheres to policies and standards.
• Functions as a Medical Assistant to room patients, obtain vitals, reconcile medications, and interview patients.
• Mentors staff and students; coaches and problem solves as needed.
• Performs regular QC checks and coordinates machine maintenance.
• Performs QA checks for technicians; records errors and provides training.
