Job summary

Middlesex Health is seeking a Radiology Coordinator to supervise daily imaging operations within the Urgent Care setting. You will ensure patient care quality, mentor staff, and coordinate QC/maintenance across imaging modalities.

The role requires ARRT credentials, JRCERT radiography fundamentals, and CT/ARRT eligible status, with leadership experience preferred. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiography program.
• ARRT Certification/Eligible in good standing
• State of Connecticut License/Eligible
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee daily imaging operations and QA/QC checks.
• Function as Medical Assistant to room patients; obtain vitals and interview patients.
• Mentor staff and students; provide coaching and training as needed.
• Coordinate machine maintenance and QC checks with technicians.
• Act as liaison between Radiology Dept. and Urgent Care clinics to ensure best practice.
