Job summary

The Radiology Coordinator oversees the daily imaging operations at Middlesex Health within the Urgent Care modality, ensuring patient care quality and adherence to policies. This role mentors staff, coordinates QA/QC, and liaises between radiology and urgent care clinics to maintain up-to-date practices.

Ideal candidates are ARRT-certified, JRCERT-trained radiographers with Connecticut licensure eligibility, and strong leadership and communication skills to manage multiple tasks and staff

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in good standing or eligible.
• JRCERT-accredited radiography program completion.
• Connecticut license or eligibility to obtain one.
• High School diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily imaging operations within Urgent Care.
• Mentor staff and students; provide coaching and training as needed.
• Perform QC/QA checks; coordinate machine maintenance and audits.
• Serve as liaison between Radiology and Urgent Care clinics.
• Ensure compliance with policies, protocols and patient safety standards.
