Job summary
UW Medical Center – Montlake Radiology Department seeks a Radiology Clinical Operations Manager to lead operational initiatives across multiple modalities and campuses in Seattle. The role directs clinical and technical operations, drives performance improvement, and partners with leadership to optimize patient flow and quality results.
The ideal candidate has healthcare leadership experience, familiarity with RIS, PACS, EMR, and revenue/cost management, and strong communication.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Radiology, or Business required/preferred.
- Current registration as a radiologic technologist (ARRT) and WA licensure.
- Experience supervising large radiology departments or practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead operational initiatives for multiple radiology modalities across UWMC campuses.
- Oversee clinical diagnostic radiology units; travel between sites to ensure service standards.
- Collaborate with leadership to align operations with organizational goals.
- Manage clinical/technical operation of modalities and related systems (RIS, PACS, EMR).
- Support billing/compliance processes and revenue cycle activities in Radiology.
