Job summary

University of Washington's UW Medicine Radiology is seeking an Assistant Director to lead across multiple campuses and modalities. The role supports the Director of Radiology, ensuring high-quality service and patient experience while traveling between sites to maintain standards.

The position emphasizes leadership, strategic planning, HR oversight, budgeting, and compliance with Joint Commission and other standards. Strong communication and change-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Radiology, or Business.
• ARRT certification.
• 5+ years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist with ARRT in good standing.
• 7 years of direct leadership experience including direct reports, operations and financial responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and direction in line with organizational goals and initiatives.
• Drives performance improvement across clinical sites with stakeholders.
• Oversees financial and operations of Radiology across all sites and modalities.
• Manages HR, hiring, performance evaluations and staff development in Radiology.
