Job summary

Marvelconsultants seeks an experienced Imaging/Radiology Manager in Seattle to lead a multidisciplinary diagnostic imaging department. You will oversee staffing, performance management, regulatory compliance, quality, and continuous improvement in a large hospital setting.

The role requires hospital-based leadership with multi-modality oversight, staff development, and collaboration with physicians and senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diagnostic imaging program, bachelor's degree, or four years of directly related experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional Imaging/Radiology experience in roles such as Radiologic Technologist, Nuclear Medicine Technologist, Sonographer/Ultrasound Tech, or Mammographer.
• Minimum of 3 years of Imaging/Radiology management experience within the X-ray and/or Imaging environment.
• Hospital-based Imaging/Radiology experience required.
• Experience with direct reports, annual evaluations, hiring, and performance management.
• Leadership roles in union environments and multi-modality oversight are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and administrative leadership for about 40 imaging employees across multiple modalities.
• Oversee daily department operations ensuring patient care, safety, quality, and productivity.
• Direct supervisors and conduct coaching and performance management.
• Lead recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and retention processes.
• Develop staffing plans and schedules to meet patient volumes and requirements.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to set priorities and achieve goals.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regs, and imaging standards.
• Drive continuous process improvement and resource management.
