Job summary

UW Medicine’s Radiology department seeks an Assistant Director to support the Director in all department operations across UW Radiology campuses in Seattle. You will lead modality-specific operations, oversee patient and provider experiences, and ensure high-quality diagnostic results.

The role requires 7+ years of leadership in radiology, ARRT certification, and strong IT proficiency with RIS, PACS, and Epic systems. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Radiology, or Business.
• ARRT certification required.
• 7+ years of radiology leadership/management experience.
• Experience with RIS, PACS, Epic and revenue cycle processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership aligned with organizational goals and initiatives.
• Lead performance improvement across multiple radiology sites and modalities.
• Collaborate with medical directors, faculty and staff to ensure department success.
• Oversee technical operations and cost-effective management of radiology locations and modalities.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, DOH and ACR standards.
• Oversee HR practices, hiring, performance reviews and staff development.
