Radiology - Cath Lab Tech

Shift: Day, 5x8

Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30)

Experience: 1 year of strong experience with IR scrub/circ; prefers candidate also strong in Cath Lab as scrub; first-time travelers accepted with strong IR/CL scrub experience.

License: Active state license required.

Certifications: BLS, ACLS; ARRT or RCIS acceptable.

Must-Have: Proficient in skills with types of cases in this care setting; candidate must have experience in accessing/managing ports, accurate monitoring, angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, and interventional radiology procedures.

Description:Local candidates are accepted at a reduced travel rate.

The position requires a candidate with strong scrub experience in both interventional radiology and the cath lab.

The unit handles moderate to high volume cases scheduled Monday through Friday.

Staff must be proficient to work with a range of patient diagnoses including complications related to hemodialysis access.

All cases typically include ascites, pleural effusions, and new/replacement or removal of PICC lines/portacaths.

Key equipment utilized includes Phillips Azurion C-Arm, endoflators, angioplasty balloons, and varying brand stents.

Candidates should expect to float within the specialty and assist in both the IR suite and cath lab as needed.

On-call duties include approximately 8-10 shifts per month for urgent/emergency cases.

Weekend on-call is also required approximately every third weekend.

Candidates must maintain compliance with required certifications and licenses throughout their employment duration.
