Job summary

The Cath Lab Technologist will provide patient care in the cardiac catheterization laboratory, performing scrubbing, monitoring, and assisting in procedures in both ambulatory and inpatient settings.

Responsibilities include electrophysiology support, ICD/pacemaker placement, and active participation in the call rotation with 1–2 nights per week and weekends. Cerner charting experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Cath Lab experience or equivalent.
• Licensure as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the cardiac cath lab, including scrubbing and monitoring.
• Assist in electrophysiology procedures, ICD and pacemaker placements.
• Participate in call rotation; 1–2 nights per week and weekends.
• Utilize Cerner charting; operate lab equipment and assist with tubing and pumps.

Description:The Cath Lab Technologist will provide patient care and support in the cardiac catheterization lab.The role includes scrubbing, monitoring, and assisting in procedures in both ambulatory and inpatient settings.The position requires participation in the call rotation, which includes 1-2 nights per week and every 3-4 weekends.Candidates must assist with electrophysiology procedures, including ICD and pacemaker placement.Utilization of Siemens fluoroscopy, angiojet, balloon pump, and Impella equipment is expected.Experience with the Cerner charting system is strongly preferred.The position does not involve floating to other units.A in-person orientation lasting 1-2 days will be provided on the unit.The facility will conduct a physical and drug screen on the first day.Travelers are advised to check pet housing regulations prior to placement, as there may be restrictions for large pets.
