Description:Position for a Cath Lab Tech.Schedule details include four 10-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM.Charting using Epic is required.Each clinician is expected to take on-call shifts.One full weekend of call must be scheduled together.Clinicians must return to the hospital within 30 minutes when called back.All requests for time off must be included during submission.The facility may cancel one shift every two weeks.Availability to work or take call on one holiday per contract is a requirement.First-time travelers are not accepted.No locals are accepted for this position.Pending licenses are accepted with specific conditions.Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, and either ARRT(R) or CCI RCIS.Key clinical skills encompass proficiency in various cardiac cath lab procedures including LHC, RHC, PCI, PTCA, and stent placement.Responsibilities also include sterile technique, EKG lead placement, and hemodynamic monitoring.Advanced procedures performed include TAVR and left atrial appendage closures.Candidates should be familiar with equipment such as IABP, Impella, and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT).The facility serves adult patients, with a daily census ranging from 15 to 20.There are six procedure rooms available.Common diagnoses include coronary artery disease and heart failure.Interdisciplinary support is available, ensuring patient care is comprehensive and effective.Strong emphasis is placed on rapid response protocols and dysrhythmia interpretation.Travelers will be expected to adhere to the facility's policies regarding attendance and compliance.
