Job summary

Cynet Health seeks a Radiology - Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in North Carolina. Day shift, 10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:30). Requires 2 years' experience, NC or Compact license, ACLS/BLS, and RCIS or ARRT if available. Must have structural heart scrub experience and be able to travel.

Travelers welcome; local candidates accepted. Unit supports PCI, stents, thrombectomy, and other complex cath lab procedures; weekend call may be required.

Qualifications

• Structural Heart Scrub experience required.
• 2 years' experience in radiology/cardiology settings.
• Experience with cath lab procedures and monitoring.
• ACLS/BLS required; RCIS or ARRT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scrub and monitor duties in cath lab during procedures such as PCI, stents, and complex interventions.
• Assist with PA lines, telemetry, and patient monitoring.
• Support structural heart procedures including TAVR.
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety throughout cases.

Must-Have:

Description:RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite.Any call-offs or additional RTO could possibly result in a cancel and DNR.Structural heart scrub experience is a must.Do not screen candidates who do not have this experience.The expected start date is based on the schedule but is subject to change depending on class and trainer availability.Travelers may start on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of the first week.They must be fully available with no other commitments to accommodate any schedule changes.Missing any portion of the orientation may result in a delayed or canceled start.The final start date will be confirmed on the Tuesday prior to the start week.The unit will accept first-time travelers.Local candidates are accepted.

Skills Required:Scrub, Monitor, PA Lines, Telemetry, Structural Heart, and TAVR Experience.Cath Lab Procedure Experience: Balloon Angioplasty, PCI, Stents, Thrombectomy, Impella insertion, Left & Right Heart Catheterization, Rotablader.

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and one of the following: RCIS or ARRT.

Preferred Skills: Circulate, IV Start, Conscious Sedation.Additional Cath Lab Procedure Experience: Watchman Procedures, Septal Closure, Ablations, Coil Embolization, Filter Placement.EKG Settings and Experience: Rhythm Interpretation.

Unit Details:Target ratios: 3 rooms.Weekend call and callback are required.Floating could be required but would be rare.The unit has a patient holding area inside the Cath lab, which travelers may need to access on occasion.Some of the more complex procedures performed in the lab include complex PCI.

Required testing must be completed promptly after signing.Candidates must be open to floating within or near the facility per job description.Travel pairs are allowed, but they must be on different units and disclosed.References may be pending at submission.
