Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Radiology - Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week assignment in Beckley, WV. The role requires 2+ years of Cath Lab experience, ARRT, AHA BLS/ACLS, and a current state license.

Travelers must be able to respond within 30 minutes for alerts, work a Day 4x10-Hour shift, and participate in a rotating weekday off schedule with on-call duties. Scrubs and lead aprons are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the Cath Lab.
• Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications are required.
• ARRT certification is mandatory.
• Candidates must hold a valid state license to practice.

Responsibilities

• Table pan and scrub for diagnostic and interventional cardiology cases.
• Assist with devices and tools used in Cath Lab procedures such as Shockwave, Balloon Pump, Impella, EKOS, Penumbra and ACIST injector.
• Support implants including pacemakers and ICDs.
• Cross-training in electrophysiology (EP) for ablations is available.

Description:Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty.Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications are required.ARRT certification is mandatory.Candidates must hold a valid state license to practice.Those willing to apply for state licensure when offered will be considered.Travelers must work Monday to Friday with one rotating weekday off each week.On-call requirement is 20 shifts per 9-week schedule, with a weekend rotation every other week.Traveler must respond within 30 minutes for STEMI alerts.The on-call team consists of two RNs and one radiology tech.There are two cath labs with rotation in the EP lab.On average, eight to ten procedures are performed per day.Approximately six to eight STEMI cases occur per month.Scrubs and lead aprons will be provided.Responsibilities include table panning and scrubbing diagnostic and interventional cardiology cases.Assist with devices and tools such as Shockwave, Balloon Pump, Impella, EKOS, Penumbra, and ACIST injector.Device implants include pacemakers and ICDs (single, dual, bi-ventricular).Peripheral diagnostics and interventions are part of the responsibilities.Cross-training in electrophysiology (EP) for ablations is available.Trainers and supervisors use both radial and groin access techniques.Compliance with all hospital policies and procedures is expected.Candidates must reside a minimum of 75 miles from the facility.References and certifications must be provided as part of the onboarding process.Availability for a complete 13-week assignment with predisposed schedules is required.Travelers may only submit for one position at a time.
