Job summary

Holy Name Medical Center is seeking a patient-care support team member to assist radiologists and technologists in delivering compassionate care. Responsibilities include greeting patients, preparing them for procedures, administering oral contrast, and aiding with PACS/RIS/HIS systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• BCLS certification (American Heart Association) on hire required.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients courteously and communicates with compassion.
• Administers oral contrast and escorts outpatients to changing area.
• Practices aseptic technique and follows infection control procedures.
• Assists radiology staff with patient care and workflow.
• Transports patients as needed and maintains patient confidentiality.
• Assists with PACS, RIS and HIS system usage and staff in-service activities.
• Attends staff meetings and participates in department operations.
