Job summary

Holy Name Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform x-ray duties in OR and Pain Management settings. You will follow prescribed techniques, prepare rooms, and ensure accurate imaging while maintaining ALARA principles.

The role requires NJ licensure, ARRT certification, CPR, and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team. Competitive benefits and on-site parking are provided.

Qualifications

• Trade or vocational training in x-ray technology required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current NY/NJ radiologic technologist license required.
• ARRT certification required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Follows prescribed techniques in administering x-rays.
• Prepares room, equipment, solutions and materials as needed for patients.
• Cleans and disinfects x-ray room and equipment.
• Documents fluoro time and schedules cases in IDX.
• Protects patients from unnecessary radiation by following ALARA.
• Ensures images are properly oriented and transmitted to PACS.
• Performs duties independently with minimal supervision.
• Maintains patient confidentiality.
