Job summary

Cynet Health seeks a Radiology/Cardiac Sonographer for a 13-week travel assignment in North Carolina. The role requires ARDMS RDCS AE certification and at least 1 year of echo/cardiac sonography experience. Expect day shifts, 8-hour shifts, and Vascular/Cardiac imaging in adult populations across ICU, ED, and outpatient settings.

Candidates must have traveler experience and community hospital exposure. Proficiency with GE/Philips equipment and PACS is preferred, with strict PPE and isolation

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in echo tech/cardiac sonography.
• Traveler experience required; unit does not accept first-time travelers.
• Community hospital experience required.
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start for this specialty.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive echocardiograms (2-D/3-D) and Doppler studies.
• Operate GE/Philips systems and PACS for image capture and interpretation.
• Provide high-quality imaging in ICU, ED, and inpatient settings.
• Adhere to infection control and PPE protocols; manage patient safety.

The average daily census is 10 patients.No call requirement.No float requirement.No weekend requirement.Patients will include adults and geriatrics.The unit provides interdisciplinary support including IV Teams, Respiratory Services, and others.Must pass EKG testing prior to start for this specialty.Flu vaccine is required; exemptions for medical or religious reasons only.
