Description:The position requires performing ultrasound examinations in the areas of General, Client, and Vascular.The department has 4 scanners available for use.Procedures such as drains and biopsies are performed regularly.Average number of scans/studies per day ranges from 8 to 10, sometimes more.The department uses Fuji EPIC for EMR and PACS.Radiologists are in-house except during on-call hours.No float or coverage to other areas is required.There is a requirement for weekend shifts and holiday shifts as needed.Call coverage is required for 1-2 nights per week and every third weekend.No IV starting is necessary in this role.The dress code is professional color scrubs, which are provided.Cancellation by the hospital is allowed up to 4 shifts for a 13-week assignment.Department-specific orientation is provided for the selected candidate.
