Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to join our ED team in a free-standing emergency department. The role focuses on general ED ultrasound imaging, with a night shift support and rotating weekends to be discussed with management. Epic RIS/PACS and Siemens Sequoia are used for imaging and reporting.

Candidate must have ARDMS or ARRT(S), BLS, and at least 2 years of ultrasound experience. The facility performs ~5 studies per day and handles around 15 ED visits daily.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform general ED ultrasound imaging.
• Take general vitals and assist with patient transport.
• Room patients when not performing radiology tasks.
• Work with ED staff and maintain teamwork across modalities.

Description:Looking for an Ultrasound Technologist to join our team.The facility is a free-standing emergency department with 10 beds and no trauma designation.We offer 24/7 on-site X-ray, CT, and Ultrasound services.The department averages 15 ED visits per day and performs approximately 5 studies per day.Patient types include only ED patients.The technologist will be expected to perform general ED ultrasound imaging.There is a willingness to teach skills outside of ultrasound imaging during orientation.Responsibilities may include taking general vitals, assisting with patient transport, and rooming patients when not performing radiology tasks.Teamwork and support among staff from other specialties/modalities are expected.The technology utilized includes EMR: Epic, RIS: Epic Clientnt, and PACS: Philips iSite.The department-specific equipment includes Siemens Sequoia and Trophon.There is a night shift sonographer who supports ultrasound needs at multiple facilities.Weekend rotation will be discussed with management during the final interview.Travelers will work 75% of holidays.Management approval is required for requests for time off.Scrub color is black.
