Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Radiology Tech Assistant to support the Radiology team with RIS usage, basic computer skills and strong communication. This role emphasizes patient safety and workflow efficiency in a hospital setting.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and prefers candidates with 1 year of patient care and experience with Radiology Information System, EPIC EHR, and PACS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS Basic Life Support required.
• 1 year patient care experience preferred.
• Experience with Radiology Information System preferred.
• EPIC EHR and PACS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organizes rooms, stocks linen, changes and properly removes linen.
• Uses two patient identifiers prior to transporting patients to and from Radiology.
• Operates stretchers, patient beds, and wheelchairs.
• Reviews daily department schedules to coordinate with Radiology team.
• Maintains supplies in Imaging areas and informs when restocking is needed.
