Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health seeks a Radiology Technologist Assistant for Lourdes Hospital on a PRN basis to support the Radiology team. The role involves ensuring room readiness, linen management, and efficient patient transport with proper identification.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and BLS certification; one year of patient care experience is preferred. Familiarity with RIS, EPIC EHR, and PACS is advantageous.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• BLS Basic Life Support certification is required prior to direct patient care.
• 1 year of patient care experience is preferred.
• Experience with Radiology Information System (RIS) is preferred.
• EPIC EHR and PACS training are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organizes rooms, stocks linen, and manages supplies for Radiology.
• Transport patients using stretchers, beds, and wheelchairs with proper patient identifiers.
• Review daily Radiology department schedules to coordinate with team members.
• Assist with routine Radiology unit operations and support the Radiology team as needed.
