Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking an MRI Technologist Assistant for St. Mary's Hospital. The role supports patient care by answering phones, interviewing patients, and coordinating scheduling. You will help position patients, monitor safety, and assist with room preparation and transport.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and BLS certification; MRI department experience is preferred. EPIC EHR and PACS familiarity are a plus. Competitive benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS Basic Life Support certification required at hire for Roper St Francis locations; preferred at hire, required prior to independent patient care at BSMH.
• 1 year of MRI department experience in hospital setting preferred.
• EPIC EHR and PACS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and communicate with patients, families and staff.
• Verify scripts and patient schedules, interview patients to obtain history.
• Assist with getting patients on/off scanning tables and with clinical monitoring.
• Transport patients to and from department; assist with room prep and cleanup.
• Ensure safety screening, verify information, and identify implants or concerns.
