Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital in Royal Oak is seeking an Advanced Imaging Assistant to support Imaging Technologists and uphold patient-centered care in a busy hospital setting.

Under direct supervision, you will perform duties within Imaging and must have good interpersonal and communication skills along with 2 years of patient care experience. Employment type is part time with a night shift, 8 p.m. – 6 a.m., and variable days including every third weekend.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of relevant experience.
• 2 years’ patient care experience.

Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital opened on Jan. 24, 1955 as a 238-bed community hospital. Today, the hospital is a 1,101-bed major academic and referral center with Level I adult trauma and Level II pediatric trauma designations. Scope of Work

Under direct supervision the Advanced Imaging Assistant supports and assists the Technologist as needed following the established policies and procedures within the Imaging environment. Responsible for performing a wide range of duties as assigned by the Imaging department. Must have good interpersonal and communication skills. Follows Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of relevant experience
• 2 years’ patient care experience.

Preferred

• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
