Casper Medical Imaging in Casper, WY is seeking a patient-centered Radiology Support Assistant. You will assist technologists, manage patient flow, and help prepare exam rooms to ensure safety and comfort during imaging procedures.

Requirements include a high school diploma and 1–2 years in a healthcare setting; familiarity with medical terminology and EMR/PACS is helpful. The role involves lifting patients, coordinating scheduling, and maintaining a safe, efficient work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher; healthcare education preferred.
• Experience in medical terminology and anatomy is beneficial.
• Training may be available in hospitals or military settings.
• Experience with patient safety and exam setup is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Obtain medical history and communicate with technologist.
• Monitor scheduling and alert if delays exceed 15 minutes.
• Explain exams to patients and ensure safety during imaging.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist with patient positioning and lifting.
• Assist with paperwork and maintaining workflow; stock supplies and clean.
