Job summary

Sentara Greenbrier HealthPlex's Advanced Imaging Center seeks a Medical Assistant/Medical Administrative Assistant to support outpatient radiology operations. You will manage the order entry process, communicate with patients and staff, and maintain medical records with accuracy.

Experience in radiology support and patient handling is preferred, with a High School Diploma or equivalent. The role involves assisting with patient transport and imaging workflows in a modern outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with radiologic systems for digital image management and transfer.
• Minimum 3 years in a medical environment preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Handle order entry and related administrative tasks.
• Maintain clear communication and guest relations with patients and staff.
• Maintain and analyze medical records.
