Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a senior operations manager for The Medical Center Radiology ASR Services. This role directs scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and patient-liability collection, ensuring accurate, timely processes and strong interdepartmental cooperation.

Under general direction, the position supervises staff, manages budgets, and maintains compliance with Joint Commission standards.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years’ managerial experience in Registration, Scheduling, and/or Insurance Verification process.
Understanding of third‑party payor and managed care requirements, procedures and regulations.
Understanding of primary, secondary and tertiary insurance requirements, procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities

Oversee scheduling, registration, and insurance verification processes for Radiology Services to ensure timely, accurate patient flow.
Oversee collection of patient liabilities and coordination with the Patient Access Center.
Direct and supervise assigned personnel, including performance evaluations, scheduling, orientation, and training.
Develop and manage budgets for the areas you oversee and ensure financial goals are met.
Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, health and safety regulations, and confidentiality standards.
