Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant science field is required.
• Two years of relevant laboratory experience with safe practices.
• Ability to document accurately and follow safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safe, organized research operations under regulations related to radiation, EHS, biosafety, and animal research.
• Ensure machines operate safely and that lab safety protocols are communicated.
• Train personnel in radiation, biosafety, chemical safety and best practices.
• Draft and update SOPs and regulatory documentation for management approval.
• Interface with Radiation Safety Office, EHS, IBC, and IACUC as appropriate.
