Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's in biology, chemistry, biomedical sciences, laboratory science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant laboratory experience.
  • Experience with safety regulations and accurate documentation.
  • Ability to work with faculty, staff, and students to maintain a safe, efficient research environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate safe, organized and efficient research operations in compliance with radiation safety, EHS, biosafety, and animal research regulations.
  • Assist in training laboratory personnel in radiation safety, biosafety, chemical safety, and best practices.
  • Draft and update laboratory protocols, SOPs, and regulatory documentation for management approval.
  • Serve as liaison with Radiation Safety Office, EHS, IBC, and IACUC and provide knowledge to these partners.
  • Maintain accurate laboratory records to comply with regulatory inspections.
