Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an Imaging Manager to lead the medical imaging department, ensuring high-quality imaging services and regulatory compliance. The manager will coordinate with medical staff, supervise imaging technologists, and drive continuous improvement to enhance patient care and efficiency.

The role emphasizes collaboration, budgeting, quality assurance, and staff development within a dynamic healthcare setting.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related imaging field required.
Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
2-4 years of experience in a closely related field required.
2-4 years of leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assists the Imaging Director with daily operations of all imaging areas as needed.
Ensures workflow is organized and staffing priorities are set.
Interacts professionally with patients, families, coworkers, medical staff and visitors.
Participates in education of new staff, ancillary staff, and students.
Serves as an expert resource for staff.
Maintains supplies and equipment for patient care.
Assists Imaging Director with budgetary planning.
Establishes and monitors quality improvement processes.
Supports annual performance evaluations and competency checks.
