Job summary

Montgomery College is seeking an outstanding full-time Radiologic Technology faculty member to begin January 2027. The Radiologic Technology program is fully accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).

The position is part of a collective bargaining unit. The successful candidate will teach in classroom, laboratory and clinical settings, participate in accreditation activities, and contribute to curriculum development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required and ARRT certification in good standing.
  • Maryland Radiographer license in good standing or eligible.
  • Two years' clinical radiology experience.
  • Demonstrated excellence in classroom instruction with diverse methods.
  • Experience using LMS and incorporating technology into delivery.
  • Commitment to inclusive teaching and diverse student populations.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Teach a variety of didactic, laboratory, and clinical courses within the Radiologic Technology program.
  • Teach 30 semester hours per academic year; summer teaching possible.
  • Participate in accreditation activities and adhere to standards.
  • Engage in curriculum design, program evaluation, and outcomes assessment.
  • Support the program and clinical coordinator as needed.
  • Travel within DC, MD, and VA to visit clinical sites.
