Montgomery College invites applicants for a full-time Radiologic Technology faculty position starting January 2027. The program is fully accredited by JRCERT and the role is within a collective bargaining unit.

The successful candidate will work in a multi-cultural environment with diverse learners. Responsibilities include teaching didactic, laboratory, and clinical courses, maintaining 30 semester hours annually, and teaching summer classes if offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• ARRT certification in good standing.
• Maryland Radiographer license in good standing or eligible.
• Two years of clinical radiology experience.
• Excellence in classroom instruction with diverse learners.
• Experience using a learning management system (LMS).
• Ability to engage students with high-impact teaching pedagogies.
• Commitment to inclusive teaching and collaboration with colleagues.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Teach didactic, laboratory, and clinical Radiologic Technology courses.
• Teach 30 semester hours per academic year.
• Opportunity to teach summer classes.
• Participate in accreditation activities and uphold standards.
• Contribute to curriculum design and outcomes assessment.
• Support the program and clinical coordinator as needed.
• Travel within DC/Maryland/Virginia to clinical sites.
• Serve on committees, hold office hours, advise students, and pursue professional development.
