Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of occupational experience in radiography; 2 years must be full-time clinical.
• At least 1 year of teaching experience or formal instructional training.
• Bachelor’s degree; ARRT Radiography certification; California CRT permit; CPR card.

Responsibilities

• Deliver class and/or clinical instruction according to an approved course syllabus using teaching methods.
• Develop daily lesson plans; advise and tutor students; maintain attendance and grade records.
• Remain current in the applicable radiologic technology field.
• Attend faculty meetings and two in-service training sessions annually.
• Participate in college activities (in-services, meetings, orientations, open houses, graduations).
• Strive for student success by delivering quality instruction to achieve course/program objectives and prepare for entry-level roles.
