Job summary

WellNow Urgent Care in Fort Wayne is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform X-ray exams, ensure patient safety, and maintain high-quality imaging workflow. You will prepare patients, verify orders, and document results in EMR, with access to PACS reports for accurate charting.

Qualifications

• Mastery of radiologic procedures and patient safety protocols.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology for x-ray testing.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic radiology equipment issues.
• Excellent customer service and clear communication with patients.

Responsibilities

• Start up and shut down X-Ray equipment and verify patient identity.
• Prepare patients and perform radiologic procedures per safety guidelines.
• Document findings in EMR and ensure PACS reports are available.
• Obtain pre-authorization for CT scans and assist with radiology workflow.
