WellNow Urgent Care in Illinois seeks a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our growing team. You will start up and operate X-ray equipment, verify patient information, perform procedures safely, and document in EMR across our Illinois locations, including Freeport.

Formación

• Mastery of x-ray procedures and protocols.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology for x-ray testing.
• Knowledge of radiology equipment safety hazards.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Ability to follow written instructions and standardized work practices.
• Excellent customer service and patient-facing skills.

Responsabilidades

• Start up and shut down all X-Ray equipment.
• Identify patient and confirm ordered examination.
• Prepare patients and perform x-rays per safety procedures.
• Take detailed patient history and note observations.
• Apply radiation protection and shielding measures.
• Ensure equipment is functioning and report malfunctions.
• Document radiologic procedures in EMR and assist with billing notes.
• Obtain pre-authorization for CT scans and verify PACS reports.
