Job summary

WellNow Urgent Care in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform X-ray procedures, ensure patient safety, and document results in EMR.

Active ARRT certification and Indiana licensure are required, along with completion of an accredited radiologic technology program. The role includes on-site work with growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package. No on-call and daytime shifts; sign-on bonus up to $10,000 is available.

Qualifications

• Mastery of best practice x-ray procedures and protocols.
• Understanding of anatomy and physiology for radiology testing.
• Knowledge of radiology equipment and safety hazards.

Responsibilities

• Start up and shut down all X-Ray equipment.
• Identify patient and confirm ordered examination.
• Prepare patients for radiological procedures and perform radiographs safely.
• Obtain patient history and note observations during examination.
• Use shielding materials to protect patients and staff.
• Ensure equipment is functioning and report malfunctions to Lead Technologist.
• Document Radiologic Procedures in EMR and assist with billing.
